ResMed Chin Strap Twin Pack

  • Patients who open their mouths during CPAP or bilevel therapy and do not want to use a full-face mask can alternatively combine a nasal or nasal pillow mask with the ResMed chin strap to reduce mouth opening.
  • Comfortable: The side straps and the soft, wider chin section of the chin strap rest comfortably against the skin and gently help keep the mouth closed during therapy.
  • Versatile: The chin strap fits easily under or over most CPAP mask headgear and can be combined with a variety of masks and nasal pillow masks.
  • Simple: The chin strap is a single-piece design, is pulled over the head, and adjusted with hook-and-loop fasteners.

Putting on the chin strap
The chin strap must be put on before putting on the mask.

  1. Place the chin strap over your chin so that the edge marked “V” rests against your lower lip. Guide the straps past your cheeks and fasten the hook-and-loop closure on top of your head.
  2. Adjust the straps so that they pull your chin upward sufficiently. Make sure the chin strap fits securely before placing the mask over it.
