The Systam Viscoflex P361C is an anatomically shaped wheelchair seat cushion made of viscoelastic memory foam. It was specifically developed to improve sitting position, increase comfort, and support pressure distribution in the buttock, coccygeal, and sacral regions.

Thanks to its anatomical shape, the cushion adapts precisely and gently to the contours of the body. This increases the contact area between the body and the cushion and reduces pressure on particularly vulnerable skin areas. This can help relieve sensitive regions and support pressure ulcer prevention and adjunctive pressure ulcer therapy while sitting.

Viscoflex memory foam

Applications of the Systam Viscoflex P361C

The Systam Viscoflex P361C can be used for:

• existing pressure ulcers at stages I to II according to EPUAP, provided that the patient can change their sitting position or pressure points are regularly relieved by caregivers
• increased to very high risk of pressure ulcers according to the Braden Scale
• prolonged wheelchair use
• limited mobility
• increased pressure risk in the buttock, coccygeal, and sacral regions

• previous pressure ulcer in the coccygeal or sacral region
• complete or incomplete paralysis of one half of the body
• impaired perception in the lower limbs
