Warning:
Keep the mask magnets at least 15 cm away from implants or medical devices that could be adversely affected by magnetic interference. This warning applies to you and anyone in close physical contact with your mask. The magnets are located in the frame and lower headgear clips and have a magnetic field strength of up to 400 mT. When the mask is worn, the magnets connect to secure the mask, but may accidentally detach during sleep. Implants/medical devices, including those listed under contraindications, may be adversely affected if their function changes under external magnetic fields or if they contain ferromagnetic materials that attract or repel magnetic fields (some metallic implants, such as contact lenses with metal, dental implants, metallic skull plates, screws, burr-hole covers, and bone replacement devices). Contact your doctor and the manufacturer of your implant or other medical device for information about the potential harmful effects of magnetic fields.
